    Fitting OPC bumper extension (question).

After umm-ing and aah-ing about it for months, I've gone and bought the OPC front bumper extention from LMF (Excellent service once again BTW. Phoned on Thursday, it arrived today - and that's with the holiday Friday and Monday - cheers Steve).

Had just a quick look at the motor when I got in as it was getting dark. I offered up the extention, but I'm not sure exactly how it can go on as the standard black plastic bit (shown in pic - hope SpideyMack doesn't mind me using a pic of his car) seems to be in the way. Quite hard to explain.

    Is that part removable?

P.S. Also bought the Irmscher roof spoiler off A16VCY the other day (formerly on M1GST). Pics up as soon as everything is sprayed and fitted.

    re: Fitting OPC bumper extension.

Correction - It actually arrived yesterday. I just wasn't in to sign for it. Me old man collected it from couriers today.

Excellent service from LMF all round.

The Black rubber/plastic bit is just cliped on and stapled in position. When you remove the bumper to bond and spray the new splitter on you will see how easy it is to remove.

Good to see you got sorted Graeme - Steve at LMF has always been good the few times I have dealt with him.

Can confirm that the black lower lip comes off pretty easily.

Get some pics up soon - still hoping to get one myself before Edinburgh show in May.

re: Fitting OPC bumper extension (question).

    Nah, sorry.

It's sitting in the garden shed at the mo'. Money's tight just now so I haven't had the chance to get it sprayed. I'll be going to the bodyshop during the first week in June though, to get a quote on having it done together with the Irmscher roof spoiler which is also gathering dust in my shed.

Fingers crossed I'll have these done before the end of the posing season.... I mean, summer.
