    Hesitating problem solved

I put a post up a few weeks ago about my car hesitating after changing gear and when im coasting along and then slightly push the throttle pedal.
The car would jump about like the fuel pick up wasnt right.
Took it to a mate and he plugged it into his machine which showed a faulty RPM sensor. It been replaced and is running fine now.

Just thought id let everyone know.

Presumably there was no evidence of a fault like the engine management light for example? If so, do I take it it's possible for sensors and the like to be faulty and the only way you get to find out is sticking a Tech2 on the car?

I ask as mine goes in for a 6000 oil change on Monday, and if the above is possible I might ask the dealer to give it the once over with the Tech2 'just to check' all is well.
