We had a great day at Weston Park, the weather held off and everyone had a cracking time. VXLSCC Staffs region were in attendance as well (some tasty Astras on their stand) and we had a good blimp at Turbo's Coupe now he's got it on FK suspension (**** me it's low and rides hard  !)
Mine again (engine bay is now cleaner than when I bought the car)
I've fitted the custom battery cover from Glenn Yale now, it allows me to keep the battery bag underneath, so protecting it from the heat of the turbo.
Mine yet again (were there other cars there? I can't remember  )
OK, there were, here's Turbo's beastie. How low? He worked on the principle of drop the f**ker, then wind it back up a bit at a time until it would go down the road without scraping bits off. Hats off to him
Jo & Ian's Star Silver 2.2 Coupe with lots of nice bits
Dicko16v's SRi, with a few nice mods to boot
A couple of nice Astras off the Staffordshire region stand. I didn't get a chance to speak to the owners, so if you're on AS I apologise.
Last couple of pics,
And you think The Fast & The Furious invented bling engine bays? This was a MK3 Cortina owned by a retired guy, who was busy polishing the stainless and chrome he's had on the car for years and years. Will this be Slim or Lord Nikon in 40 years time?
