    Ecotek CB-26P

Just got a Ecotek CB-26P, but before fitting it thought
I'd ask if anyone on here has fitted one. Can see it fits to the
servo pipe, but some say that there might be another pipe
that you can fit it to. Also is the servo pipe under pressure,
instrutions say some thing about sleeving with 9.5mm fuel pipe,
where's best place to get that?Daft questions I know, but don't want to ballsthis up
To walk between the lines , would make my life so boring!!!!!!!!!

You don't fit it to the brake servo pipe, you fit it to the emission control pipe which runs from the drivers side wing and across the back of the air intake pipework.

There is a 90 deg bend close to the wing and the pipe is a solid plastic one.

You have to fit the ecotek valve as close to 6 inches from the throttle intake.

The brake servo pipe is no good on this engine as it only covers 2 cylinders.

Hope this helps, installation instructions on the ecotekplc.com site for the Astra G cover about everything.

Are these worth the money? Is there a notable difference?

Been looking at these and would like to hear if anyone has fitted one and what they think of them before taking the plunge

if your into lead footing then forget it as its designed for fuel economy, they do give a nice raspy sound like the turbo and look good under the bonnet with all the other shiny things but its not a speed thing
