    Air Bag Problems

Im currently trying to sort my airbag problems as ive managed to borrow a tech2.
The tech2 says its the passenger airbag squib and passenger pre tensior both with high resistance.
So ive removed the passenger seat checked the connection under the seat, cleaned the connection. Tried to clear the fault codes but they are still there.
Wheres the passenger airbag squib though? :?

Im not sure if this has anythin to do with the problems, but the steering wheel groans/squeaks a lot when its turned as well, which ive heard could be the squib ring behind the steering wheel.

Any one got any ideas? I want to sort this asap as the tech2 has to be returned tomorrow.

    Thanks
    Eddy

The squib is the actual airbag unit.

SRS components often suffer with micro corrosion of the terminals.

most systems use gold plated pins which will self clean when undone and reconnected
