Spring fitment between coupe & hatch, help please

C9RUM is selling his Eibach springs of his coupe turbo and I wondered if they would fit my GSi?? I was gonna buy Eibach anyway so it would be good if they fit

Both cars are the same weight, I think 1250 kg. but i wondered if the coupe ones are different in shape and poundage.

I would imagine the fronts would be ok as its the same engine, but the rears I'm not sure on.

I'm pretty sure the coupe and Gsi use the same spring ratings . There should be no problems, as there's very little difference in the weight between them.

Cheers Manch, I think TBH both cars weigh the same when I last looked on vauxhalls site, can't check now now as the GSi's gone.

I assume the springs are the same shape, must be the same components

Nah the rears will fit, the chassis on the coupe is basically the same as a astra hatch just it has a longer boot. The only problem would be spring rates which i personally think there would be no problems, if you are still unsure check with eibach .

Eibach and Koni both list seperate springs for the 3/5DR Astra and the Coupe.

Fit the correct ones or not at all.

The only difference is slighty different spring rates , do you know the max spring ratings on your car m8?. As you open your door its on the on of the surfaces, it will tell you the max rating needed front and rear . Coupe turbo springs are rated for 995 front and 780 rear.
