    warrenty claim .

just been cleaning the car and i noticed there is a small hole in the plastic cover that sits over the bottom of windscreen and the bulk head. dont no if this would do any damage over a period of time ( rain ) but can i claim on the warrenty for a new one at my local vauxhall dealer?. the car is now 4 month's old.

I would have thought so unless, they say its a wear and tear issue. IE something, or you made the hole therefor its not a product defect and then not covered.

But I would have thought they would replace it as its such a new car. I would certainly expect it replaced what ever casued it.

Let us know how you get on with it.

I think the hole you talk of on your bulkhead is supposed to be there, to drain excess water off, there should be two, one on each corner.

there's only one hole ,on the passanger's side, but to me it looks like a defect with the plastic pannel. its as if when the plastic was being moulded a little hole blew through?. dont think i had it on my astra coupe ?.

crap at posting pics mate, when you look at the hole you can tell it's a defect with the plastic pannel.
its about 3mm wide but now i know it's there it will be playing on my mind so have to pop to my local vauxhall dealer and see what they say . if they try being funny i will tear some *****'s out of them .

Good luck with your warranty claim Jase. They hate paying out for warranty claims - refused mine when i had an intermitent fault which was eventually diagnosed by another garage because they couldn't trace it.
