    yes mate they do
mine doesnt have a switch either, this just means it isnt switchable.
however you can buy the switch and loom from vauxhall and not a bad price and fit it yourself, easy modification tbh.

i had to take one of the fuses out for when i went on the rolling road, forgot to put it back in, getting the car out of northampton rollers prooved a tad tricky, as that fuse also controls power steering, abs as well ops:

I was under the impression that you cant turn it off. You can turn it on full-time (when light is illuminated on the dash) other than that its set to come on when ever it needs too.

when the light is on the dash all the time, that's it turned off.

when it flashes it's working and doing something at that moment

when there is no light, its on, ready and waiting for some wheel spinning to correct.

Humm, although I'll admit I dont know a great deal about my SRi, I havnt read the manual for example, I would swear blind that when the light is on full time, then so is the TC.

If what you say is true, then Id better stop trurning mine off when im driving through snow!

    Propper Homer Simpson moment

As above when light on solid - TC Dissabled
When flashing - TC Is 'Saving your Ar5e'
When light off - TC is waiting to help

My Dad did the same as you for 1 year before I got my car and the dealer corrected me on this during the test drive  I then went home nd told mi Dad to stop turning it off

    Ah well, live and learn

Thats my understanding, but I have always been advised that you are better turning it off in snow or you don't get anywhere, the slightest slip in snow will activate TC and loss of power but with it off at least you can control it.
