    Mk 2 Convertible roof problems

Hi, I am having trouble closing the roof on my project. The drivers side closes fine, but the passenger side falls about an inch short for the hook to sit in. The only way i can shut the roof properly is with a ratchet strap .

Also there seems to be a bulge in the passenger side of the roof just behind the roll bar, it looks like it all needs to come forward, which would lose the bulge and allow the hook to link up.

Has anyone else had problems like this and does anyone have an idea of how the solve.

    Any help will be appreciated
