I have got a review of a few different induction kits on a standard car (its in a spanish car mag) and the Gen2 came out badly.

Best up was the twister followed extremely closly by the BMC.

How badly did it come out? Did it lose power over standard? By BMC u mean the carbon dynamic box right? Fitted one of those a while back, but prefer a heat shielded induction kit. Seems to make the car faster, or it could be just the added noise?

Well i've ordered one, shud be with me tmr i think. At the mo i'm using derestricted airbox with ITG filter and applied some of that 10k boost spray. Car is sooo much smoother and quieter. Improved performance since my car has done almost 50k.

Fitted the gen2 K&N. Throttle response seems to have improved, but could be because of coldish weather. Noise is louder and seems to resonate into the cabin abit. Took filter off and replaced with a blitz SUS metal cone. Deep note but no resonance. Here is a crappy pic taken from my phone.

Looks like a nice installation. Shame the filter isn't pointed more forward, but then K&N would have to bend the pipe again.

Would imagine some good gains with the heatshield too
