Well went to mk1 RR day at Northampton Motorsport 2day, had a great day, and nice to meet you all(obviously there not on here, cept Raz).
The RR results were very good for everyone seeing as the engines are now over 20years old.
The 1.8's were only 1.5 and 1.3? bhp down, and thats bloody good for the old lumps.
Neils XE conversion was running 167bhp, and he was well happy.
Dave's old mk1 turbo ran a dissapointing 189bhp (not for getting dave took all the good stuff off b4 selling her).
Raz ran the 2.2 G again, but can't remember the figures, bit down from what he was expecting.
I actually ran mine as well just to get a new figure for the year and was well happy with my results. My torque was 135.6lb ft at 4668, a small dip exactly where i knew it would be due to fueling, but still an excellent pull from 3700RPM upwards.
The bhp figure was excellent, got 136.4bhp, which i was well happy with. The curve is perfect as well.
And Retro Cars turned up for a shoot session for the mk1's, so that was good as well. That same guy would did the AS shoot did this one but was more friendly this time.
