    making a website

hey, Ive gota make a web site for a project at college so im guna do one 4 my dads business.

Ive got experience with frontpage but only have frontpage 2000. At college the lecturer wants us to use dreamweaver. At a glance the program looks quite ugly!

Which do you think is best, as i know theres a few web design buffs on here.

Dreamweaver is the way to go

Your right its very ugly to use, but once you have the hang of it, your web site will look a million dollars!

Maybe you can really impress your lecturer, but doing it all in HTML language.

Steer well clear of microsoft products if you can.

They add extra code all the time making sites fat and bloated without really needing to.

If you learn dreamweaver you'll soon learn flash etc which is much more useful.

Haven't seen dreamweaver yet, but I would agree with Mad Coo Frontpage adds way too much extra code!!

Maybe one day I'll be converted but I'm still using Notepad (web version of assembly I suppose and Frontpage would be VC++ )
