    noise when pulling off ??

    hi hopefully someone can help
    when i go to pull off(lift the clutch up) mainly on a hill or if forgetful and in second gear i get like this whirling /long screech not to loud but loud anoth have no idea what it could be its only recently been serviced by vauxhall so cant be to much wrong unless they missed something. any ideas thanx for any help

    could it be a dry cluth plate maybe? havnt really got a clue but, my old asta had this problem, had it in at vauxhall and it had no clutch oil in it, looks like it came outta the factory without it, vaux put some in it cured the problem, but then came back, had it filled again and it went, just a suggestion but get it checked

    could just be as simple as the fan/alternator belt needs tightening!

    when the cars under a load if these are not tight enough that noise can happen!

    might be worth a look before you take it to vauxhall !!
