    what are the best speakers

had enough of OE headunit and speakers
What speakers am i best getting for both front and back (3 door)(no 6x9's)
Im guna have a £200 pound budget.
I want plenty of bass, They'll be running 4x55watts(I know i wont get proper bass without a sub but Im not putting one in this car) and im keeping the original wiring for ease.

Would small subs fit in place of the back speakers?

If you're up for a bit of work, then yes small subs will fit in the rear quarter panels.
I have a pair of eights in mine.
You need to be prepared to do a bit of metal cutting to get them in, plus you really need to box them in to get the proper effect.

Well, as the original rear speakers are only 6" it order to get even a 8" sub in means cutting a bigger hole.
There's no easy way around it without cutting some metal.
In my own case, we removed all the inner panel & built boxes for the subs which were screwed into place. I then I also added aircraft grade aluminium box section strenghening ribs to tie in the cut sections & have ended up with a panel that is now stronger than it was originally.

I'll fit the headunit and changer. When it comes to removing panels 4 the speakers Im a bit heavy handed, I'll prob take it to an ice dealer for the speakers to be put in. Just wondered which were the best direct fit ones really! ones that dont fart when thewre up load n atleast give some bass. Im guna have the doors sound proofed aswell.
