just had a look at the feature on his motor and couldnt help but notice his submarine battery!!!

do you need a bigger alternator?
    Cheers Rich.

I had an up rated battery as, I relied on it far at much for the ice, solenoids, and alarm.

After my battery went I just had the biggest battery that would physcally fit in the space..

    Alternator was fine though.

Can always uprate to the Diesel alternator if you really needed too.

I had an uprated battery on my Nova, due to the 1.1Kw amplification. I used a diesel battery from a Cavalier (it just about fitted) and I got a local company to rewind my alternator to a higher spec, using the rotor from a Senator, which is rated for 110Amp.

That was the cheapest way of doing it. A bigger battery is always a benefit, but bear in mind that big ICE will drain batteries very quickly, so an uprated alternator will aid the recovery time of the battery for competition or continual high volume running.

I've fitted a split charger to the Astra, so that I can lug a leisure battery when needed to keep the fridge running at shows etc (best bit of ICE you can have )
