    Deristricting Mk3 airflow

I took out my airbox last night and started pulling pipes out of it so it's now just a basic box without the two bottom feeds and the conical shape pipe that leads to the engine and just holes where they were.

Now as stupid as this may sound, yeah my car pulls a tiny bit better, but the thing growls like a wagon! Is it meant to make more noise when you do this?

Yep. You'll get used to it.
It's not too noisy is it ?

Tis a bit coz my zaust is vibrating against something towards the back of my car when I hit approx 4k revs, but that's a different story. Chumps at the garage didn't fit it properly.

The box itself isn't too noisy like, but as you say, I'll get used to it.
