    Suitable Drop (suspension)

I have a 52 Reg 1.6 Astra SXI with the standard sxi suspension (lowered 20mm) and the irmsher frontlip spoiler and sideskirts.

I have ordered 18" Dare X1 alloys, so I will need to lower the car slightly. What is the best drop to get that will make the car look good but without having to make any arch mods or having to buy new dampers.

Also, what is the best springs to get? I hear eibach are rated quite well on here.

    Your opinions will be welcome.
    Cheers

most people on here go for a 30-40 mm drop. not sure if you would need to do any arch work though.

Gilly does it make your car to impractical?

i had my clio lowered and it was so low (only 30 mm though)(PI shocks and springs/torsion bar) it became a bit impractical on speed ramps etc and the ride was real hard!

i don't want to make the same mistake on my astra!!

does any body know of a coilover kit available for the Turbo Convertible?
