    Dehandaling

Both my doors will have to go into vauxhall to have both doors resprayed, as The window frame has cracked on both sides. I was thinking about getting it de handled and get vaux just to spray the door on warranty,(I know a guy there and he would get round this for me.) So thats all kosha. Just I was a bit concerned that it being used every day, it might be a little annoying, as I have heard of people who have had this done before and it gets on there tits now with solenoids going and not being able to get into the car. Would I be best sticking to how it is now, as to be fair they dont look out of place.

    Thoughts please.

I would leave the handles on mate, just incase. :?

It would be nightmare trying to get in without them.

They are pretty good looking handles in all honesty.

Just de lock the drivers one for that extra peace of mind.

Done that before I even had the car, and they are color coded. Wouldnt mind audi handles, or smoothing in but the handles dont fit flush as standard.

    Have to think about it.

de-handle but leave the boot lock for acess if the battery goes, you lock the keys in, the solenoid packs up etc etc

I would never totally delock and handle a car again, it is a serious pain in the arse and my car was not used very much at all.

    Hmmm.. Doh.

My astra is booked in to get the door handles removed at the end of april. very good price so thought I'd go for it, also one door needs resprayed anyway.

So basically I should keep the boot lock there yeah?? So I can manually get in if need be??
