Keep the vauxhall history if it's important to you, otherwise just get it done anywhere.

    Shop around for tyres.

Yes, you'll lose your steering controls.
But you get an adapter from connect2.co.uk for it to work.

. . . and get us some pics of your pride and joy !

    hey matey!

    we need pics

tyres - get them yourself before the service, and from a tyre yard or small alloy wheel dealer rather than from kwikfit or the likes. Or you could get them online.

service - personally my car has always been serviced by my vauxhall garage. A bit more expensive, but if any warranty issues come up it's all sorted out. Yours should still be under warranty shouldn't it?

sony - you'll lose the steering wheel controls but there is an adapter I believe that will enable you to regain this. Someone with a sony headunit required to answer that one for sure!

Spoilers - speak to Steve at LMF on 01858 433 599 for one. You can get a replica of either the Irmscher one as found on SRi's or the Prodrive one as found on GSi's and SRi T's. Be less than 100 notes unpainted though.

And the other thing you have to do is derestrict your airbox and get on the phone to PVD on 01604 797960 and get yourself a PVD panel filter for the MK4 Astra. About 25 notes. This coupled with the derestricting will make your car that bit more nippy. Good mod, well worth doing mate.
see here for details on what to do....
