ECU location / ECU pin map

    Hi guys!

New here and all, I'm hoping everything will be the same with your cars and mine as i'm from Aus, considering we import them from opel i'm guessing so. ANyway i drive an Astra SRi 2.2l '02 model. I was just wondering of the location of the ECU and the pin map of it. I'm pretty sure the ecu is located on the driver side kick panel, and it's a bosch one. Although i found another unit under the driver door railing /skirt, but haven't really investigated this one. I need to know the wire colour / pin number layout of the ecu. Or futher more the pin /wire colour of the speed sensor. I've brought a Blitz power meter and it needs to hook up to the speed sensor.

Thanks heaps for your time guys, hopin somebody can help me asap!!

    Cheers

    Benny-o

    Hi and welcome

Don't know if its any use but there is a speed sensor wire in the ISO connector on the back of the head unit.

    Thanks!

I forgot about that - i just had a new headunit put in too, should have done it all then. Good thing that, auto-volume control, pretty impressive for a stock radio.. Hopefully it's the same thing, so might go from there. thanks heaps for that, muchly appreciated.

Sorry but thqat is deffinatly the Central locking ECU as that is what we hook up to for the total closure mod that Steve manufactures.

The 2.2 ignition module (ECU) is in the engine bay.
