Righty Ho. I'm about to go and derestrict the airbox and fit the panel filter, but before I do that I thought I'd get in touch with the car insurers.
My question is - Could the way I word my plans on the phone, affect how much change they will make to my premium? Obviously I want as little price hike as possible.
Is it a bad idea to phone and say "Hello, I'm calling to inform you of an engine modification".
Or is it better to word like "Hi, just calling to ask if there would be any change to my policy for replacing the cars air filter with an aftermarket one."
One last thing. Should I bother mentioning the airbox mod?
