    17's or 18's That is the Question

    Ok, so i am looking to change my wheels to something a bit more respectable, but not sure on this offset thing and actual wheel + tyre size.

    Any help or links to useful advice welcome, has is the details for the offset size and wheel sizes i need in 17" and 18".

    BTW wheel size has in 255/35/18 <Example... or wotever it shud be

    Wheel size would be 215/40/17 or 215/35/18 and offset of between 40mm - 49mm and you'll be fine any more info just have a wee search and you'll find it

    if i were you id go for 18s, mine are 18s with 215/35/18, havent had any major probs only a very slight bit of rubbing on the driver side rear wheel arch

    18s are definately the way to go.

    You can also lower it pretty much as much as you like.

    Dont be scared to get big wheels, but just take heed of tyre sizes.

    215/35/18 is the best to prevent rubbing.

    The only thing to think about with 18's is the price of tyres! Your looking at £100 a corner! :shock:

    The cheapest place i've seen for 17 inch goodyear eagle F1's is £87. I paid £100 fitted so was a pretty good price . 18 inch toyo's would be around £120.00 fitted , not totally sure
