    Insurance Question

The time has come to renew my policy.

Last year I had a small collision with another car and the arsehole insisted on calling out the police. In the end no claim was made from either party (tit for tat situation).

Does this need to be declared to insurers even though no claim was made?

I would tell the insurers as they usually ask about any claims OR accidents, we always ask but if there has been no claim then it wont make a penny of difference.

Always better to tell all - remember insurers talk to each other on a central database as well
