    Heated seats in the back

The guilt and disparity is too much. I want heated seats for all not just the Elite in the front. There are some genuine Vauxhall heated mats on eBay, how easy do the seats come apart? Its a G convertible with leather.

Don't know about the Astra, but I changed the seat covers on my Vectra, and they were a doddle to do the back seats. I would imagine the Astra being the same, as the bottom rear seat is just basically a bench, if you see what I mean. Should just unclip from around the edges, and the leather will be held to metal bars set into the foam with metal clips. You should be able to persuade the pads into place without undoing any clips.

I'd have thought that it'd be a relay in the fuse box. It'd be a bit harsh if the ECU controlled the seats.

you may well be right, just know there is a coupleof large fuses in there somewhere, or so it says in the manual. does anyone know if the switches are the ones with the rotating knob or the vectra ones which are just a switch ?
