    Mk3 Leccy window problems

Ive just fitted some leccy windows 2 me mk3 Astra - everything went in alrite; the motor/mechanism, the wiring loom & the switches, but when it came 2 work it didnt! :x Theres was no live feed 2 the motors. So with the help of some wires 2 the battery we got the window up... but only half way! Ive come 2 the conlusion its from a 5 door Astra not a 3 door.
Anybody got any ideas how I can sort this problem out?

Please clarrify for me a little:

You've connected a live feed to the motor directly from the battery in an attempt to get the window up and upon connection of this feed, the window went up half way and then stopped?

If this is the case then I'm guessing you've no doubt burn't the motor out but don't quote me on that cos without seeing your home made wiring diagram and physical wiring, it'll be hard to tell.

The arm still moves up & down as it should it just stops about 3/4 of the way up when U try 2 put the window fully up. Ive got a feeling Im going 2 have 2 buy new mechanisms unless some1 knows how 2 modify it so I can use that still but the windows goes all the way 2 the top? :?
