    NOS!!

Need help on making my mind up...i have a black 3 door astra sxi 1.6 16v, X reg
Now i want nos i think or i want to make it look good, with a funky set of alloys on it and a bodykit...its a difficult one as i know nos in like £650 to buy from regal then fitting on top so should be looking around a £1k. But iam thinking by the time i buy a kit, and alloys, get it all sprayed up...it would cost around the same. So..does anybody know what you have to actually do a car to have Nos fitted? also is it worth it? do u get loads of power or or would making it look good be a better buy?
    any help would be welcome

on a limited budget I would go for wheels and a kit, but that will cost a fair bit more than £1000.00 to be honest.

Nitrous doesn't last long per bottle, so it is another ongoing running cost. I would spend the money on a nice set of wheels and some lowered suspension.

as a man who has done both on another car i would have to say bodykit and wheels mate

as steve said nos doesnt last long and at £50 a re-fill it all adds up over time

get a decent set of wheels, lower it and get a better throttle intake. they usually give about 20bhp on the 1.6 i think

    NOS!

Cheers guys...thanks for the advice. I am planning on gettin my car ready for June so it looks good for Santa pod and PVD show..has anyone ever fitted an Kitforcars.com kit? They do the following :
    Vauxhall Astra Mk4
    Infinity Front Spoiler £110.00
    Infinity Rear Spoiler £110.00
    Infinity Side Skirts £ 90.00
doesnt look to bad and the price is good too, says All kits are top quality GRP and are supplied with mesh.
Also as for alloys...from reading the tons of posts..and from my understand..i could get away with putting 18s on my car and not have to lower it, but if i did they wud rub..thats rite isnt it? but 17s lowered another 20mm (40mm in total) would be ok. i just dnt want to waste alot of money on somthing that wont fit.
Cheers again guys for the advice

18's with a 40mm drop, in the right offset will be fine
