What type of gear gaitor fits the mk4 astra? I`ve tried a couple of the elasticated ones but they just don`t fit.

I think Richbrook can do one to fit the Astra G, as they make the gaiter surrounds and supply a wire with the kit for fitting a leather gaiter. Best to ask before parting with any cash though

the plasic frame holds in the gaiter with I think around 4 staples, undo theseand pull out the gaiter, trim the elastic of the new gaiter and tuck into frame and replace staples, job done.

Should do as long as its long enough for the throw and lift up reverse.
Take the gear gaiter off and have a look, and you will figure out what needs to be done. The same applys to the hand brake gaiter

    Gear gaiter

We sell a specific Simoni Racing leather gear gaiter and frame for the MK4 Astra in a choice of gaiter colours, the part number is BX23 + colour code (ie. N=Black/noir)...
Obtainable from most decent car modding shops or if you get stuck, give me a buzz on 01525 382713 (ask for Tony) from tomorrow as I'm back in work..

take ur original gear gaitors, split all the stitching so ur left with the original patterns and get a tailor or even dress makers place to make u some up with real leather or leatherette etc... i had my gear and handbrake gaitors done in genuine white leather with black stitching for £39 all in.
