    Panel Air Filters

Right considering getting a panel filter although i belive a foam panel filter (Ram air, pipercross & PVD) will provide more performance than the cottons ones (K&N, Green).

So what have you got (1.8 owners only please)

Oh yeah do i need to tell my insurance ?

yup, you needs to tell them about any change you have made to the standard factory model.

Ive got a k&n filter and it does the job.

tell them anyway mate! it will probably make no difference to your policy but it leaves you in the clear. if you read the terms and conditions of the policy at the moment youll see that they are within their rights to not pay you a penny in a claim if you have changed the car in ANY way.

Must admit... the only thing i would tell my insurance about would be:

    Engine swap.
    Alloys.
Exhaust, (and only if it were a full s/s system).
