    God damn fuel gauge!!!

Firstly i know that this should be in the Tech advise but i just want to know if anyone else has this problem

My fuel gauge has a mind of it's own Luckily i can tell if i'm ok on petrol because of the milometer and i don't use my car that much so i only ever put £10 in at a time.

Somtimes if i'm driving and park up for a few minutes and start her up again the needle goes right down and the light starts flashing even though it had near a quarter in there before, other times it just makes up how much i have left

This happing to anyone else? Is there an easy way to fix it?

I remember the needle on my old Astra would stickif I filled it up to the top. For miles I'd have a full tank, go over a bump and be down to a quarter.

alan panic not mate search through the techy section its all in there nothin to worry about most g's suffer the same problem there aint nothing you can do about it, it happens when you switch on and drive away to quick without lettin the needle settle i get it all the time, as i tend to jump in my car whilst im at work and drive a few hundred yards then switch off (not allowed to wear protective clothing outside, thats my excuse anyway ) honestly mate it aint worth replacing somethin that aint exactly broke
