    which is quicker

    I have the 2.0 sri MK 4

I have read in Total Vauxhall that the
    1.8 has a quicker 0-60 time than the 2.0
is this correct and if so why?,

should i have bought the 1.8 and
saved insurance petrol and still had
    the quicker car?

The 1.8 has a close ratio gearbox and the engine block is lighter than the 2.0

thw 2.0 is better due to the 1,8 being a complete and utter waste of time to tune.

Mat is very right here, there are very few engine mods for the 1.8 16v, where as there are quite a few different ones about for the X20XEV

I'll go with this to, there's a wealth of mods for this engine, purely because it has been around a good while.

The 2.2 (Z22se), which I have, although a brilliant engine with a lot of potential has a limited amount of mods available (Even compared to the VX220) in this country.
The 1.8 has slightly more options, but the 2.0 and 2.0 Turbos are the best for mods............
