Went to my local tyre dealer as I want my crappy dunlops off and some Eagle F1's on.
Pulled me up the tyre info and he has 215/40 R 17 83Y Eagle F1 GSD3 on his computer.
Everything matches except the load rating which is 87 on the Dunlop SP8000E's and 83 which is on the Eagle F1's. He hasn't got Eagle F1's with an 87 load rating.
What have you got on yours and is the tyre going to be safe if you go lower on the load rating, ie blow out and Mr insurance man see's different load ratings on the tyre's.
The prices seem pretty good:
4 X Tyres, fitting and balancing and 4 wheel tracking - 788 Euros or about £558.
Really would like these as the reports have been really good about them and I would like to have some grip for a change. Its just the load rating which is holding me back. Also how do you find yours and are they lasting well?
Thanks for any info
