    Condensation problem

    my car has a really bad condensation problem, only happens winter time!
    Any ideas? think it comes from boot area!

    Your always gonna get condensation when your body hits the cold air inside a car.

    All you can do is have the fan on - warm/hot air clears windows faster.

    Only drive when your windows have cleared - get up 5mins earlier !

    Going by your online identity, are you sure that isn't the problem?

    Had exactly the same problem with my Mk3 GSi. Only occurred in Winter and no amount of heater on full blast would get rid of it. I found a small leak in the boot drivers side but more worryingly, damp under the passenger side footwell carpet. I fear you almost certainly have water leaking in from somewhere.

    i have this as well...have to run with air-con on most of the time to clear it also happened on my veccy with air-con

    have had problems similar with astras which turned out to be pollen filter not being changed in years and it retains all the moisture make sure if your vehicle has one that its changed regular

    also check that the water shield that runs over the width of engine bay above the filter isnt split
