I fitted mine yesterday, well one anyway cos I had a bracket missing out of one pack. It did take some working out tho.
I haven't got any photos as I'm at work, but hers some pointers.

Fit the brackets to the highest bonnet hinge bolt with the bonnet in its upright position. The ball joint bit has to face the wing with the bent tab facing up. You're probably thinking theres not enough room and its gonna catch, but its OK.

Remove a wing bolt from each side (second from front of the car), you'll have to dig out the metal clip that the bolt screws into as well.

Put the threaded ball through, with some combination of washers. I messed about and drilled out the thick washer to put on top of the wing then put one of the large thin washers underneath with the nut.

Now you can clip the lifters in place. I positioned mine with the main body at the bottom on the wing, and the shaft on the bonnet.

Insert the ball end clips, shut the bonnet carefully and check for clearances.

You'll probably need to remove the black foam blocks from the bonnet.

Hope this helps all those that can't read German

The How To link on the technical queries board works but only for Astra F's

Disclaimer: If the bonnet chops your head of or you stick a lifter through your eye or other numpty event, its not my fault

Al, you have the lifter on upside down in that photo. If they are fitted with the body on the lower bit like that the oil inside the strut to lubricate the seal will never come into contact with it and it dries out, losing the gas.

We've had this in work on machines and I've also seen this happen on a set of lifters fitted to a G.
