help, So im fixing a few scratches...........

Iv just been down to Halfords and got myself some Vauxhall Midnight Black Metallic stone and chip repair kit, now it tells me that i should use the primer first, but the marks and chips i have arent very deep at all, so should i go straight to using the colour match paint with a pin or something because thats what is says in the technical guide on this site!??

    With all due respect Terry,

use the paint only, and apply it with a pin, or a decent brush, build up the layers, then t-cut the **** out of it till it blends, read cal's how to, he does it in a similar way to me, you could try rubbing compound but be very carful with it
