Don't MK4's have some stupid long anti corrision :?: warrenty???

Not seen a rusty one yet.

If it's a MK3 though clean them back arches out and underseal them up (Think NRJ is doing this now)

Mk4's 10 years, but that involves getting it inspected every year.

I reckon we should all do what Nrj is doing, (well maybe not take it apart)
But at least give it a coat of hammerite. Should stop rot.

    Hello,

Is is just a visual inspection kind of thing? Is it part of the service?

    Cheers,

Yeah its only visual, should be done once a year and stamped in the service book.

    It 'should' be stamped up.

I had to fight with the guy at Arnold Clark at the last service. Well seeing they had forgotten to put any record of my service in the book, that was after they said they couldn't get me a tyre cheaper than £160 that day!

Needless to say it was stamped up, whether it was done or not I dunno but I won't be using them again!
