How do i get rid of my badge and Sxi stickers?

Im looking at the side of my car today and i decided that it would look better if i got rid of the Red Sxi sticker(s) just under the Wing mirrors, had a look if they were able to just peel off but it looks like it could leave the paint work marked if i do, is there a special way of doing it?

Also, i would like to get rid of the 1.6 badge under the Astra badge on the back of my car, but again, looking at it, looks like it would do more damage than good......!???

On the back of your car you can just pull off 'astra', 'vauxhall', '1.6'.
Some people have used fishing line, credit cards, dental floss etc., I pulled mine of with my fingers !
It leaves some of the sticky pad behind, but you can just polish that off easy enough.

Don't remove the round vauxhall logo though, it has 2 holes behind it.

The sxi sticker should peel off, just take your time and be careful.
It will be harder, but it is just a sticker.
Again, clean with polish etc .

With the 1.6 badge, they should be put on with a thin spongy sticky pad, so it should move a bit if you wiggle it with your finger.
(If you know what I mean :? )

If someone has glued it, your probably best to leave it.

was messing around once noticed the 1.6 badge was a bit loose so i just ripped it off.

no white stuff, it was all behind the 1.6 itself.....the badge did however break

Heat the badges using a hairdryer when heating the ones at the back use an old cloth to stop your lights heating up.

the heat makes the glue go soft and the badges can then be easily removed using denal floss, fishing line or an old credit card.

remove sticky resedue left with polish ie mer

I removed mine by pooring very hot water over the badge. This softened the adhesive pad behind the badge and then I just carefully pulled it off!

Can I just check: there's definately no holes behind the "Vauxhall" and "Astra" tailgate badges? Can anyone confirm this? Cheers

I made this mistake on my last car - turned out there were holes behind the badges so I ended up putting them back on

Used doubled-back piece of cotton and ran it behind each badge to get them off, then used Autogylm window cleaner to get sticky stuff off.
