Acceleration has gone a bit dodgy?

Right, when I accelerate from the lights etc lately (from standstill) I find my car holds back and then kicks itself into action?

It feels a bit clogged up in a way... anyone any ideas?

Failing that, you can use "carby cleaner" stuff that comes in a spray can, car must be off and cold to use it, and don't spill the stuff on the paint, because it WILL strip it!!!
The car will be a biatch to start afterwards too
