V V V sad when they have to resort to this. What a complete load of toss. These guys are some of the most skilled drivers in the world !
Complete money spinner on the part of the Police IMO !! :x
I'm slightly confused, so this is on a stretch of public road?
Yes it was on a stretch of public road which lead into a forest.
Apparently, they have to use a public road for 2 miles, getting to a forest area of the rally.
It just happens that the police setup speed traps all along the route.
Bit of easy cash for them
Steady lads !
At the end of the day it's still public road !
What if your street lay between Rally camps and the shakedown forest ??
You would not want them flying past a school at almost twice the limit !!!
Is it too much to ask rally drivers to keep to the speed limit for 2 miles ?
Think about it. :?

I agree that they should stick to the limit where appropriate, yes, no question. However you honestly think this 2 mile stretch of road normally has 7 speed traps along it ???
Don't think so. Just a conincidence that the road would be busy with spectators and support crew etc. I very much doubt it. Thats the point !
