How long do they stay on your license?
It's nearly 2 years now. I think it's three??
Points are valid for the totting up process for 3years.
You can have them removed from your license after 4yrs and insurance companies tend to ask for 5yrs history.

I had 6 in one hit for speeding, but they've gone now.
Well 1 year ago I passed my test and got flashed twice in 1 journy (after 2 weeks of driving) and 6 points (in the 1st 2 years of driving) means bye bye licence. After hours of ringing around I got through to a 'complaints department'. Cos it was in 1 journey they dropped one offence to a caution. I was so pleased. So they're not soooo bad
