    electric sunroof upgrade

hi, have got a manual sunroof in my mk4 astra and was wanting to upgrade. has the sunroof motor has changed at all, ie would a cav one work. does anyone know what sourround fits, cav, vectra etc, without probably paying a small fortune from vauxhall for the sourround and switch.

    cheers for the help.

i checked my veccy surround and they are as close as, i tried a base base mk4 so the wiring wasn't there so might be worth taking your surround offto check if you've got the wiring needed, if not then you will have to run new wiring.

once you find out i'll sell you my full kit.

use the astra standard cover as they are only a couple of pounds from vauxhall.

part number for the hatchback one is --- 90440303
you will also need the switch and motor but your best getting these from a scrapyard.

i have taken the sourround off and there is a wiring loom pushed back which looks like it is there for a motor. Do you know if the switch has changed for the mk4 astra, or is it the same rocker type that was on the cavs because i've seen a "turny" type one

iam sure that plugs into the motor but i have another plug found next to that one and belive it is for the switch.

Will a Zaffy motor be compatable? as i know where to find one.
    Cheers Rich.
