ive changed my LED to a flashing blue one, still in the clifford mount etc.. looks much better IMO and is even brighther than the red one![]()
I am a little confused by how they have installed the alarm. I have got a Clifford 600 as well, the ariel is hiden behind the A piller cover near the top. Also the Proximity Sensor should be located under a seat really as its out the way (mine is under the passenger seat). As for the LED and the key pad mine are the same as yours but I have the traction control button in between them.
With regards to the blackjax, its ok to use day to day but can be annoying, they give you a 4 digit code to enter and it can be a pain to do, so its best to cange it to a 2 didgit code instead. They way I used blackjax was to enable it whilst i was in a built up area, other than that i turned it off.
Its worth bearing in mind that using blackjax will actually invalidate your Thatchem rating.

i was told by an alarm fitter that the proximity sensor should go somewhere in the center consol. The only problem there is that when i put coins ect in the cosol it sometimes set off the alarm![]()
mk7 polo running 1/4 the power of a vxr
it has various settings the sensor depending on where you put it in the car its perfectly fine where ever you put it but should be hidden ouit of site. You dont want car thieves knowing where the parts of the alarm are, the hole idea behind the clifford 600 is that all the parts are seprate and can be well hidden away so they are not easierly found or tampered with.
