    Removing centre box from exhaust

I already have a powerflow back box and i am considering removing the centre box. Has any body else done this? what is the difference in performance once this has been done? will it kill low down torque?

    Cheers

The centre silencer on the astra is straight through, with the baffles simplying reducing noise.

I had it removed and replaced with powerflow straight section as I wanted a bit more noise.

It the same silencer on all the astra model's I believe, as the centre section on the wife's 1.8 convertible is identical to the one that came off mine.
