    wots the best panel filter?

im takin off my pipercross induction kit, basicly because its shit and a complete waste of my girlfriend's money (lol). im going to derestrict the airbox and drill holes in the bottom of the air box by the standard air intake. wot is the best panel filter to put in place of my standard one? who else has done this? does it sound good? any performance increase?

pvd ones are rated on here(they are actually pipercross), around 30 quid, and does the job, dont think there will be any power gains but better response is found

With a panel filter, foam ones tend to be a little lounder in my experience. The PVD is essentially a rebadged Pipercross foamy, but is the cheapest one on the market (I checked, I am a mingebag ). I have one on my turbo G and it sound fine, even without drilling the airbox.

I wouldn't drill the airbox if i were you, it will just suck in hot air from the engine bay which is pointless, and probably worse for performance.
