    cambelt change......

my cambelt has been due for some time know, (58k on the clock)
i took the cover off to have a look, and **** me the outa edge was starting to fray, i meen the wire thread was sticking out!
    is this normal?
anyway gona go down to the dealers to get a cambelt kit and rollers, do i need anything else?
also what would be the labour costs to get this all fitted?

    cheers in advance

i have a feeling that with a normal garage it will cost you in total around £300. £105 for the cambelt kit and the other 200 on labour costs.

Should it be done after less miles if the car is old?

Mines a '99 T but only done 24,000.... Next service at about 30k perhaps?

    Cheers.
