Remember seeing it once in the Corsa accessories catalogue. Shocked me because it seems to be just a bit of sticky back black tape and the price was listed at about 80 quid

Those prices are always out though so guess it can't be quite that much. I've got a black car so wouldn't interest me anyway

If you look at the GSi, see that black bit that is on the door frame. Thats it but Irmscher are supposed to be doing one for the MK4 astra thats like it.

would rather use the proper stuff, do a proper job like. And it needs to be this cause the foil is quite thick.

I got the cardon film for the gsi from vauxhall, think they were about £30 for the 4. Don't think the film is any thicker than a sheet of cardon film. Only fitted the front ones (on the door), haven't got round to fitting the rear ones yet. They were quite tricky to do, probably cos I was in a rush. I only realy needed the front ones though, as I had a wee accident involing a stanley knife wen trying to tint the windows myself.

Thats the reason I want the film to fix the door damage from the break in , so I can use the insurance money in getting the other repairs done instead, so my car will be mint again.
