hey guys, sorry to bring this up again (im sure its bin up few times) but everything i have tried jus seems to fail. i have soundproofed the spare wheel well in the boot, the side walls of the boot (removed the panels and did on the wall of the car) and still cant sut out the vibrations.
the question i have is, is it the boot itself rattling on the rubber, because i have shut the boot, and left the sub and system on, thereby hearing it outside. i foun that by pushing the boot down, i cut out a lot of the vibration. is this just becuase of the way it is sealed (the boot) or becuase my catch is faulty???
how could i attach the boot to reduce vibration (any mods) or jus make it shut tightetr, if u get my meaning?!?
anyone else have this problem???
my system so far is,
LEGACY LA 1030 (1000w 4 channel) amp
LANZAR VX 693 (6x9's 300w)
PIONEER sub (about 1000w-1200w) cant find the product no.
all in a 1.6 8v astra 5 door LS
i know this is a heavy rear bias, but for the moment, until i can get any sort of funds for door components, the stocks will have to do.
