    Vauxhall Warranty

    Hello everyone

I was just wondering really what vauxhall would say if I fitted a back box onto my exhaust. :? Does this void the 3 year warranty?
I need my car checking over as when my car gets hot, the engine makes loud whining noises. Hope its not a big problem. Though to me it sounds like its coming from the Cam rollers and tensioners, Which I know will cost me a bomb to fix.

1 way to get around that is to take the back box off & put the std one back on when you take it into the garage to get it looked at & when it is finished there, put it back on

Changing the exhaust should not effect the warranty (Apart from the warranty on the exhaust!) BUT your best to check it with the dealer you brought the car from as they all have there own idea about what the will/won't cover!

I grew the balls today and phoned up Vauxhall and asked them about my warranty. I told them that I had shoved a back box on and if that has void my warranty and the guy said no my warranty is still alive

Lucky for me as its not a bolt on back box.. Its a powerflow back box..
