    Using Cabriolet lowering springs?

    I have a 1.8 coupe, my mate is selling his FK lowering springs 60/40mm will these be ok on my car, his is the turbo cabriolet.

    I'm not 100% sure but I think the springs will be the wrong weight rating!

    They should be ok m8, as FK only list 60/40 springs for a AstraG Coupe . So i think they sold your friend some springs for a coupe. There's not diff except the rear axle weight rating on the convertible is higher. I think the FK springs was designed with that in mind

    Eibach have different springs for the coupe and convertible. FK have only one spring set listed and thats for the coupe so its designed with your car in mind rather your m8's .

    Cheers for your help guys most appreciated, he has an irmsher splitter for sale too, i dont need it as i have one, slight damage on the bottom edge how much do they normally go for?
