    GTE 16v Running like arse!!

    Hey everyone,

My GTE 16v is running really jerky/hesitant anywhere below half-throttle, then power kicks in again over half-throttle. Air filter seems fine, can't see any obvious loose pipes etc. Any ideas please?

    Thanx in advance.

but would that only affect the performance at low throttle? Surely it would be the same across the board if it were an electrical fault?

Check the rubber gasket under the SFI box - I've had mine not seal properly and cause cack running. When did you last change the dizzy cap and rotor arm? Also, replace the fuel filter if it hasn't been done in the last 12 months. The only other thing I can think of is caked up injectors.
