My Powersounder started beeping. Took it to Vauxhall and had Tech2 plugged in and the backup battery had gone. Might be worth getting it Tech2'ed if you know a friendly garage that will do it 4 free :?

Hello Mate, Not another one  I think this happens to us all at some stage. It is the batteries in the power sounder (Located inside the nearside wheelarch) that are knackered the power sounders are sealed units so you will have to get it replaced at Vauxhall as they also need to programme it via Tech 2.

    Is it still under warrenty??

Mine too - even though the dash light is solid (as it's supposed to be according to the manual) for a few seconds before flashing, it goes off randomly... maybe once, maybe ten times in a row...

It's not beeping at me though... might it be something else then?

I'm getting out the passenger side!

Have a Tech2 Booked for Sat.

richy if your doing it that way then you are not deadlocking the car, so why not do that of the key just click the button once and the alarm should stay off

Tried that Mark, but the alarm goes on on the first press... Doh!

There is nothing in the manual about locking the car without the alarm. A bit daft methinks.
